Local Markets and Enterprise Programme

Version 0.2 · Published 2026-08-07 · Target year 2027

Objective

To treat the markets of Ukpor, Utuh and Osumenyi as connected economic systems, not isolated marketplaces.

Description

Implementation Phases

  1. 1. 2027 · Market and Enterprise Study

Baseline data is collected for Ukpor, Utuh and Osumenyi: traders, farmers, artisans, transport, infrastructure and access to finance.

  2. 2. 2028 · Pilot Market

One of the three towns is selected for a coordinated pilot connecting market infrastructure, power, connectivity, finance and skills.

  3. 3. 2029 · Full Network Connection

Lessons from the pilot are applied across Ukpor, Utuh and Osumenyi together.

Institutional Role
